Dotson led the WAC in opponent's batting average during conference play by allowing just 19 hits, 13 fewer than any other starter. Only starter in conference play to not allow a homerun. Coach Dotson will serve on the Bronco Baseball staff as the programs pitching program director for all levels.  He will also be the Broncos JV Golds head coach.  Coach Dotson has a wealth of knowledge in pitching as he has pitched for some of the best pitching coaches in the country at the collegiate level and summer collegiate levels.  With this experience he will be able to navigate our program in the right direction developing pitchers who are on a development program to improve mechanics, arm care, increase velocity, and teach the insights to how to compete mentally on the mound. Coach Dotson has coached select baseball and worked with pitchers with the D-BAT Organization, he also helps Coach Tompkins with his son’s 10U team.

Coach Tompkins says, “I have known Conner Dotson and his family since he was 12 years old when he played for my own select baseball organization. Conner is a great pitching guy who knows the in’s and out’s of pitching and its very detailed intricacies. He is loved by his players  and teaches the finer details of the game. Kids love to play for Coach Dotson due to his laid back and calm demeanor. It is a head coaches dream when he has players that come back and coach with them. I am so excited to have Coach Dotson on our staff and leading our kids in the Denton High School baseball program.”
