McKinney Boyd Stampede Recap

The Bengals traveled to Myers Park on September 10th to compete in the McKinney Boyd Bronco Stampede. It was a great opportunity for all the runners to see the district course before the race in October. Myers Park is a challenging course so it was encouraging to see some big races out of the Bengals on Saturday.
Macy Wingard had another first place finish, while freshman Kylie Acuna finished 11th overall. Amiya Crosslin and Chloe Sanchez continued to show major gains shaving some big time off their season personal records.
On the boys side, sophomore Aleksandr Acuna ran a great race, finishing 4th overall. The boys had strong races out of Joseph Arrona who finished 10th, and Anthony Ignacio who finished 22nd. Luke Lopez continues to show major gains setting another personal record and helping the Bengals to a 7th place team finish in the elite division.
The Bengals will be back in action on September 23rd when they host their home meet at North Lakes Park in Denton. Results can be found at the link below.
